White Tie Affair

Bi-annually, the Trenton Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. orchestrates its “White Tie Affair – Masquerade Ball”.

The gala is a masquerade themed formal fund-raising event hosted by the Trenton Kappa Foundation.  Each year the Foundation partners with other non-profit organizations, businesses, and government agencies to impact the lives of minority youth in the greater Trenton community. The Foundation’s emphasis is on providing mentorship focused on academic and social development of community youth, awarding college scholarships, and conducting educational forums on health risks to the African-American community.

As part of the celebration, the Trenton Alumni Chapter and the Trenton Kappa Foundation honor their most recent scholarship recipients.

Each year, the gala is a perfectly executed evening of glamour, glitz and elegance that includes a gourmet plated dinner, energetic and captivating entertainment and live music provided by the dynamic and soulful live bands.

Masked guests dance to a mix of new school and old school, participate in silent auctions, and capture memories at the “step and repeat.”  The gala gives folks an outlet to network with like minded people, celebrate success, honor achievement, inspire action and to build the host community by investing in college bound academically deserving students.

We would like to thank all of our sponsors and friends for their continued support of our efforts in the Trenton community.
