Membership in Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. is a solemn commitment—a lifelong dedication to the ideals and noble purposes of our organization. This fraternity values aspirants who embody personal, social, and academic excellence, which is aligned with the expectations of both the college and the fraternity.
We seek individuals who demonstrate maturity and dedication. Maturity, for us, is reflected in qualities such as emotional balance, incisive judgment, social skills, intellectual competence, and moral integrity. Dedication requires channeling these attributes into purposeful actions that support the advancement of Kappa Alpha Psi’s goals.
Membership is not about personal gain or superiority. Those who prioritize their ambitions above the collective goals of the Fraternity or view membership as a favor they bestow are not suited for this distinction.
Kappa Alpha Psi values the quality and integrity of its members, emphasizing the enduring bonds of brotherhood—what we proudly call “that Good Old Kappa Spirit.”
