Our Purpose
To inspire action within the Trenton Alumni Chapter, engaging members in addressing political issues and fostering awareness and advocacy within the Mercer County community.
Voter Engagement and Community Empowerment Initiatives:
- Voter Registration Billboards:
- Reached over 5 million people to promote awareness and participation.
- iVote Campaign:
- Encouraging voter registration and turnout, with a focus on young and first-time voters in the local community.
- Key Goals:
- Political Leadership: Build relationships with local politicians to foster dialogue and collaborative efforts.
- Community Engagement: Conduct workshops like “Learn 2 Live” to educate and empower Kappa League participants and the broader community.
- Collaborative Partnerships:
- Encourage members to join local service organizations (Urban League, National Action Network, NAACP, or community boards) to expand influence and support community initiatives.
- Partner with local high schools and colleges to inspire and assist 18-year-olds and young voters in registering and participating in elections.
